Centre De'tudes Classique (high school in Raymond, Haiti)
In 2019, we completed construction and opened the doors to the high school on our property in Raymond, Haiti. As of today, the school has 325 students.
Raymond is one of the poorer communities in the Jacmel area. Since Haiti does not have a free public school system, this school provides an education for students who would probably not be able to go to school at all. We do not charge a tuition. The cost to operate the school on a daily basis, pay teachers, etc., is paid by us.. In addition to an education, the students get a hot meal every day at the school. For many, this is the only meal they get on a reliable basis.
A monthly delivery of food is received for the students' daily hot meal.
